Ways to Decorate for the Summer
We love that Lemax started making more and more houses with little to no snow and Christmas decorations. We tend to purchase from Lemax's Plymouth Corners, which is a theme that focuses on the seaside look. The seaside themed village with no snow or Christmas decorations allows us to display our pieces starting April or May. We love using light colored wood or cake stands to display the summer pieces and create layers.
We use pebbles, rocks, and sometimes lanterns to place around the display. We like to put them around the house to give the vignette a nice complete summery look.
Using bright color boxes is also a great way to display these fun beachside pieces. They give any room the pop of color to really ring in the warm weather and summer vacation!
