The Horror of the Lighthouse
Share
Lighthouses are some of the most iconic buildings ever designed. There are some designs that go all the way back to 2000 B.C., but the modern lighthouse is often attributed to the 17th century. With a design that has lasted that long, it is a shame that we no longer need much use for them thanks to modern sonar, radio and mapping technology. Thankfully, Lemax is able to keep these buildings alive with pieces like the one we get to talk about today.
The purpose of a lighthouse is to steer boats away from dangerous waters. While the lighthouse on Point Dread could do that, it seems to have an opposite effect. Much like moths to flames, this lighthouse guides all manner of ghosts and ghouls towards Spooky Town. This allows for all the inhabitants to enjoy their afterlives in peace and fun!
Lemax continues to impress with this amazing piece. It came out last year, but it's still such an iconic design. The dark color scheme with the purple lighting is so well done. The animation and music complete the piece, as always.
