What's new for 2024?

We are super excited for this year's Lemax 2024 line up. Both the Halloween and Christmas collections have some exciting new pieces. When looking at the complete Lemax line up, we were so impressed with the design team's creativity and passion. Every year they always seem to surpass our expectations.
For the Spooky Town line up, we are most excited about the Phantom Castle. This sights and sounds piece will go perfectly with the, staff favorite, carnival theme village! We would love to see a more elaborate roller coaster some time in the future, but this piece evokes the feeling of one without taking up the entire table where we set our pieces up (or the shed/attic space during the off-season, am I right?). The soundtrack they custom made for this piece also won't disappoint.
Another piece that caught our eye in the showroom is the A-Maze-Ing Pumpkin Patch. This piece embodies the classic spooky Halloween scene of a corn stalk maze. From the scarecrows popping out to scare the patrons to the pumpkin ghosts haunting the barn. The master who created the custom soundtrack should also be applauded because it makes this piece that much more spooky.
While not animated, but just as special is the Grime and Slime Spring. This piece is lighted in such a way that it mimics a fountain, flowing with green slime from the mouth of a skull with red eyes. This is a great Spooky Town addition to any village, but we plan to use it to decorate our book case in our office. With the eerie lights, it gives our book case a spooky vibe all year 'round!
Switching gears to the Christmas collection, we are most looking forward to Christmas at the Park Pavilion. Although the animation may not be as exciting as some of the other Lemax pieces, we are LOVING the stain glass windows. It gives this piece such a presence that it will immediately be the centerpiece of any Christmas village. The soundtrack has a very classic sound that cannot help, but bring up feelings of nostalgia and make us long for those small town events that bring everyone together.
Although not considered animated, Kristin's Candle Shop has a unique look featuring candles all around the piece. While most of the candles light up, some of the flames have slight flickering movements, which is a newer feature that Lemax has been experimenting with. This lighted building will go great on it's own or be an add-on to any village collection.
Another great lighted building from the 2024 Lemax Collection hails from the Vail Village theme, the "log cabin" theme. The Melted Snowflake is a fondue restaurant that features a fondue pot on the upper right corner. What ski resort wouldn't want to have a fondue restaurant?! After a long day of skiing in the cold, your villagers can enjoy a great, warm meal at this fondue place!
Whether it is animated or lighted buildings or even figurines and accessories, Lemax 2024 has some fun and creative new pieces for both new and seasoned collectors. The hardest part of selecting our 2024 Gift Spice program was selecting anything, it's hard to narrow it down to what we could carry! We hope our Gift Spice customers look forward to the Lemax collection pieces we selected for this year. Happy Collecting!
And, as always, happy village building ;)
