Zombies & Planes

Zombies & Planes

Carnival rides tend to encapsulate the very essence of Halloween.  Giving everyone that rides them a good thrill.  A thrill that is created by a combination of the fun that comes from a celebration and just a tiny dose of fear.  Fear that one of the fine employees putting the rides together made sure all the screws were there.  Today's piece has just a bit more fear.  Due to it being run by zombies.

Lemax's Zombie Plane Ride

Zombie Plane Ride would normally be your standard kiddie ride.  Fun, up and down, roundabout motion.  The screams of children filling the air as they believe, for just a moment, that they can fly a plane.  It's an infectious thing, the joy of children.  It's one of the things that make Disneyland "the happiest place on Earth".

Now, this ride is a little different.  The zombie riding along the top makes that quite obvious.  Thankfully, he doesn't seem very interested in their brains. He seems to be very content with just riding around and around, getting dizzy.

This piece has all the great quality that is typical for Lemax.  The ride does all the motion you would expect, the planes go up and down and the whole middle spins.  It has the customary green lighting that comes with most Spooky Town pieces along with alternating lights on around the rim.  It comes with the ride operator that can be set up wherever is best.  As per usual, you do need one outlet nearby to power it.

And, as always, happy village building ;)
