1. Why are there only few collections?
Answer: Since we are a start up, we are starting off with only selective items we personally really love. We are in love with Lemax Villages so as you can see, we currently only curate Lemax Collection miniature villages. In the future as we come across unique gift items, we plan to expand our collections to include non-village items as well.


2. Who is Gift Spice?
Answer: We are a small team of individuals who enjoy decorating for the holidays, especially setting up villages around the house. So we joined forces and formed a small start- up focused on finding unique home decor for the holidays - currently focused on Lemax villages. So we are now one an authorized Lemax retail shop. Our goal is to make it both simple and cost effective for every person to "spice" up their home decor for the holidays - starting with villages!


3. What is your return policy?
Answer: We hope when you receive your Gift Spice items that you are 100% satisfied, but we know that may not always be the case. So we allow a 30-day window for exchanges or returns for all items. However, please note that items need to be unused and undamaged when we receive it back in order for you to receive the full refund. 4. Is shipping included?
Answer: Our goal is to offer you the best home decor selections at a fair price, so unfortunately shipping is not included in our retail prices. We hope that you understand our limitations and continue to support our business.


5. I've emailed Gift Spice, when will I hear back?
Answer: We are very committed to providing the great customer service and support to the best of our ability. Our goal is to respond within 2-3 business days. However, we are a small start-up so during peak holiday seasons we may take up to 4-5 business days to get back to you. We appreciate your understanding and patience!


6. If an item is sold out, will it be available later?
Answer: To keep things lean, we keep very little inventory. However, if you email us or comment on any of our social media platforms to let us know which items are on your wishlist, we will do our best to acquire more of that item. So #wishlist away!


7. Why are large animated items individually packed for shipments?
Answer: To ensure that animated items arrive undamaged, Gift Spice has requested those items be packaged individually and placed in thicker carton boxes. By doing so, it will help to reduce damages occurred during shipping and handling.


8. Why are there few discounts/promotions/coupons?
Answer: We try to focus on giveaways and promotional items. However at the end of the season we will give slight discounts on all collections. We try to offer every item at the fair retail value so that our customers can get the best possible price. This leaves very little to no room for big discounts. We hope you can continue to support our business!


9. How do I return an item?
Answer: Please email us at info@giftspice.com we will be able to assist you with your return.


10. What are the shipping cost and options? When can I expect to receive my items?
Answer: We offer FedEx for domestic orders and USPS priority mail for all international orders  (including Canada).

Costs for shipping in the United States:

  1. Under 5 lbs - $8
  2. 5-19.9 lbs - $18
  3. Over 20 lbs - $28

Cost for shipping outside of the United States will be based on the rates provided by USPS.

These are the timings for those options:

  1. FedEx – 3-5 business days
  2. USPS Priority International– typically 7-14 business days depending on your location.

Please note any order received by 2:00 pm CST will ship the same day.  Orders after 2:00pm CST will ship next business day.

11. I'm not from the US, do you have the adaptors that can be in non-U.S. countries?
Answer: Unfortunately for the time being, our electrical products only come with the standard 110 and 120 volts AC adaptors.

12. What is Gift Spice's International Shipping Policy?
Answer: When a package is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country.

Such charges are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order.

The buyer is responsible for obtaining information regarding their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions that may apply when purchasing our products. By placing an international order (shipping outside of the US), the buyer is responsible for abiding by their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions.

If a product is seized and destroyed by the customs, or returned to US, we will NOT be responsible for the losses, product, or shipping refunds.

Gift Spice is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or delayed shipments or damaged freight by the domestic/international freight carriers and/or freight forwarders after they have been dispatched.

Gift Spice cannot be held responsible/liable for lost or stolen packages that have delivery confirmation to the address that was provided. The customer accepts full responsibility to file any claim(s) with the carrier for damaged and/or lost shipments.

Gift Spice is not responsible for mis-delivery errors via carrier, or incorrect shipping information.

 13. Items that have "available soon" messages, when will you have them in stock?

Gift Spice gets replenishment stock through out the year. So definitely enter your email under the "notify me when available" message and click the "send" button. By doing so, you will automatically get notified once we get the item in stock.
