Lemax's Candy Cane Works!
We have a very special piece for the second week of our Christmas in July series. This piece was the winner of Lemax's 2018 "You Name It. We Create It." contest and it is an awesome addition to any village. If you follow the link here, you can learn more about the contest, but we're going to focus on the building here!
The building brings a certain sense of magic to the town of Caddington. Normally, the building remains empty, but once the Christmas season starts, the place comes alive. No one is entirely sure how the lights turn on and the smoke stacks start going, but it lights up every year and starts making candy canes. Of course, they make the classic candy canes, but they've diversified into candy cane cookies and candy canes with unique flavors. Generations have enjoyed this building and the treats it produces, but they all seem to recognize the employees who are the same every year. A very magical building indeed.
This is definitely a more whimsical building that brings a ton of color and personality to any Lemax village. It does require one outlet, but it has a wonderful little conveyor belt and a the candy canes inside spin on their display. It also makes a great night light for a kids room, with all the colors and entertaining music.
