Wasteland Pub and Bad to the Bone Biker
Pub's, Brewery's and Bar's. Thought not quite as catchy as the Food network's version, the appeal is still the same. They conjure up images of tasty food, good company and cold drinks. The Wasteland Pub is going to change all that and bring a fun, crazy, out-of-this world feeling to your Lemax village or Halloween party.
This piece looks like something straight out of the world of Mad Max. It has the toxic waste barrels, the smoke stacks belching out flames and the huge, gas masked hood ornament that is the cherry on top of this crazy sundae. I, personally, enjoy the black lights that make the name glow in the dark. In addition to the black lights, the fires light up and flicker, it has green lights to add an eerie ambiance and, when you turn the sound up, the bartender is nice enough to inform you of exactly what's on the menu. It also has some patrons who are making full use of the facilities, but we have one more that we believe is right at home here.
This fun biker is, quite possibly, too cool for the Wasteland Pub. Hanging out underneath his streetlight with his motorcycle that, I'm assuming, he customized himself. His leather jacket and cigarette complete the ensemble, definitely making him Bad to the Bone. He is a great addition to help bring the Pub to life and create a little bit of narrative for the piece.
Both of these pieces will go great with any Lemax Spooky Town, creating a little bit of a rougher part of town, if you will. They could also be accents to the refreshment table at your next Halloween gathering, beginning your journey into Lemax Collectible Villages.
